9:00 AM - 1:00 PM    Safe Boating/Personal Watercraft Class - Safe Boating/Personal Watercraft Class
A complete, basic, safe boating certification course taught in three evenings. With successful completion of this basic safe boating class students will be able to obtain a Connecticut Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation, enabling them to operate recreational vessels up to 65 feet in length, including Jet Skis. State-certified instructors go over topics such as: choosing the right boat, equipment requirements, state boating laws, safety regulations, navigation rules, buoy systems, trailering, safe fueling, weather, accident prevention, special topics and much more. This class can be taken by anyone 12 years or older. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.All students must bring their Conservation Identification number to the class. Students who have a fishing or hunting license will find the Conservation ID number on their license. Students who do not have a fishing or hunting license can create a free Conservation ID number at https://ct.aspirafocus.com/internetsales.

Learning the fundamentals of guitar will help you develop a greater appreciation for music - and it's a lot of FUN! Topics covered include notes, right/left hand technique, beats, chords/chord theory, and basic song structure. *Class is intended for students with little or no instrumental experience.Instructor: Carl FazzioEquipment:*Please bring a guitar (style is unimportant; acoustic or classical, even electric - if student brings an electric, an amp is NOT required).*Notebook and pen to take notes.
