Rules and Regulation for Signage/Marketing on Town of North Branford Parks & Facilities
Signage and/or marketing on any property that falls under the Recreation Commission jurisdiction is prohibited without approval from the Parks, Recreation and Senior Department office. Signage not previously approved will be removed and disposed.  
 
To be considered for approval requests must be submitted via email to recreationdirector@townofnorthbranfordct.com and must include the following information:
  • Specific location for proposed signage/marketing material
  • Please provide dimension of sign and materials including stands if applicable as well as the time period in which the signage/material will be displayed.
Sign limitations are as follows:
  1. Sponsor Signs- Not to exceed 2’ x4’
  2. Registration signs- vinyl banners greater then 24” x 36” must have wind slots and can be hung for 30 days at a time
  3. Championship banners/signs- can be displayed permanently on applicable field
Additional Considerations:
  • The Community Signs located in the center of Northford and on Rt 80 in North Branford are for Community Events and Parks, Recreation and Senior Center programs.
  • If weather conditions dictate signs maybe taken down at the discretion of the Public Works Department.
