Rules and Regulation for Signage/Marketing on Town of North Branford Parks & Facilities
 
 
Signage and/or marketing on any property that falls under the Recreation Commission jurisdiction is prohibited without approval from the Parks, Recreation and Senior Department office. Signage not previously approved will be removed and disposed.
 
To be considered for approval requests must be submitted via email to jcaetano@northbranfordct.gov and must include the following information:
 
1) Specific location for proposed signage/marketing material
2) Please provide dimensions of the sign and materials including stands if applicable as well as the time period in which the signage/material will be displayed.
 
Sign limitations are as follows:
  1. Sponsor Signs- Not to exceed 2’x 4’ can be either metal or vinyl but must be consistent in the material selected for each field
  2. Scoreboard signs- Not to exceed 3’ x 5’ (only available at locations with scoreboards)
  3. Dugout signs- Not to exceed 3’ x 5’
  4. Championship banners/signs and concessions stand signs- Not to exceed 4’ x 8’
-can be approved to be displayed permanently on applicable fields but must be maintained by the organization
3) Any vinyl signs that are hung on a fence and exceed 2’ x 3’ must have wind slots.
4) Due to safety concerns or deterioration, signs may be taken down at the discretion of the Town.                                             
5) The Community Signs located in the center of Northford and on Rt 80 in North Branford are for Community Events and Parks, Recreation and Senior Center programs.
