Hello Campers and Families!!
Welcome to Week 3 of North Branford Parks & Recreation Summer R.E.C. Crew, July 7 – July 11!
*New for this year. Drop off/pick-up will be at the side door facing the TVES driveway/Fire Department.
Be sure to bring plenty of water and dress comfortably! We will have campers outside as much as possible but will move indoors if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
As a reminder, the camp day runs from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please do your best to be on time and make sure whoever is picking up your child has a photo ID with them. If someone not listed on your registration sheet is picking up your child, please call and let the office know or send a note with your child in the morning. No child will be released to someone without an ID and/or who is not listed without notice from the parents first.
What to pack every day for your child:
-Water bottle clearly labeled with the child’s name
-Change of clothes
-Nut-free snack & lunch (if not getting lunch at camp)
-Towel
-Sneakers
-Sunscreen
What to leave at home:
-Cell phones & other electronic devices
-Gum
-Peanut products
-Toys
-Matches, lighters, knives, weapons of any kind, any illegal or inappropriate
materials.
Lunch is not included with camp this year and costs $5.00 per day.
-Monday: Grilled Cheese & Sides
-Tuesday: Subway 6-inch sub (turkey/cheese, ham/cheese, salami/ pepperoni/cheese) & chocolate chip cookie
-Wednesday: French Toast Sticks & Sides
-Thursday: Subway 6-inch sub (turkey/cheese, ham/cheese, salami/pepperoni/cheese) & chocolate chip cookie
-Friday: Cheese Party Pizza

Special Activities & Classes for this week include:
-Monday: Mini-Golf at STW at 10:00 am
-Wednesday: Roller Skating in East Haven- 10:00 am
-Friday: Fitness Fun with Jill- 9:30 am
A visit with our library friends- 11:30 am
Sweet Treats Ice Cream Truck- 2:30 pm (don’t forget to give your child extra $- prices range from $1 to $5)

WEEK 3 FIELD TRIP INFO
Field trips are included in camp this summer. We will presume that your child will be going on the trip unless otherwise communicated.
We will have staff stay back at the building for those who choose not to attend.
Tomorrow’s field trip (7/9/25) is roller skating at the East Haven Rink!
We will be going in 2 groups. Group 1 (Grades 1-3) will be leaving at 10:00 a.m. and returning at approximately 12:30 pm. Group 2 (Grades 4-7) will be leaving at 11:30 am and returning approximately at 2:00 pm.
Campers may bring their own roller skates or rollerblades. If campers do not have their own, they will get them at the rink. No need to send your campers with money- the skates are included in the price. There are roller skating aids there for campers who may need help holding onto something when they are skating.
To ensure everyone’s safety, campers must bring helmets and wear them while roller skating/ rollerblading.
All campers attending the field trip must wear their camp shirt tomorrow. If this is your camper’s first week, they will receive their camp shirt tomorrow morning to change into for the trip and to wear on future field trips. It’s the same camp shirt as last year, so if you happen to have one (and it still fits!) please feel free to have your child wear it to camp!
