Hello Campers and Families!!
 
Welcome to Week 8 of North Branford Parks & Recreation Summer R.E.C. Crew, August 10- August 14. This week is Hawaii week!
 
Be sure to send your child with plenty of water and have them dress comfortably and wear sneakers! We will have campers outside as much as possible but will move indoors if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
 
Drop off/pick-up will be at the side door facing the TVES driveway/Fire Department.
 
As a reminder, the camp day runs from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please do your best to be on time and make sure whoever is picking up your child has a photo ID with them. If someone not listed on your pick-up authorization sheet is picking up your child, please call and let the office know or send a note with your child in the morning. No child will be released to someone without an ID and/or who is not listed without notice from the parent/guardian first.
 
What to pack every day for your child:
  • Water bottle clearly labeled with the child’s name
  • Change of clothes
  • Nut-free snack & lunch (if not getting lunch at camp)
  • Towel
  • Sneakers
  • Sunscreen
What to leave at home:
  • Cell phones & all electronic devices
  • Gum
  • Peanut products
  • Toys
  • Matches, lighters, knives, weapons of any kind, any illegal or inappropriate materials.
Lunch is not included with camp and costs $5.00 per day. Registration must be done by 9:00 am in order for your child to get lunch.
 
  • Monday: Hot dog & sides
  • Tuesday: Ham & cheese sub & sides
  • Wednesday: Chicken patty & sides
  • Thursday: Turkey & cheese sub & sides
  • Friday: Cheese party pizza

Special Activities & Classes for this week include:
  • Monday: Water day with our friends from the North Branford Fire Department – please pack a bathing suit, towel & water shoes (Crocs, flip flops, etc.) at 1:30
  • Tuesday: Field trip to North Farms Park
  • Wednesday: Tie Dye Day
  • Thursday: Martial arts with Tom from Forge & Luau party
  • Friday: Campardy & Italian Ice
