Played on a smooth indoor court, competitors use throws or rolls to outmaneuver their opponents. Boccia can be played solo, in pairs, or in teams of three.Boccia is a gentle and inclusive ball game perfect for senior citizens, focusing on precision and strategy rather than physical strength. Players take turns rolling or throwing soft balls to get as close as possible to a white target ball, called the jack. It’s a fun and social activity that encourages focus, hand-eye coordination, and friendly competition, making it ideal for seniors of all abilities.Join us on Tuesdays at 12:30 pm as Mark Denardis teaches us how to play at this learn to play workshop.
