North Branford Parks, Recreation and Senior Center is now accepting applications for part time and seasonal employment opportunities, which include camp director, paraprofessionals camp counselor, substitute van drivers, and front desk attendant positions. Evening/ Weekend Custodian (PART- TIME YEAR ROUND) – North Branford, CT. The Town of North Branford is accepting applications for a part-time custodian. This position is responsible for custodial tasks such as general cleaning of facility and fitness center, maintenance and setting up/break down for events at the Stanley T. Williams Community Center. Two years in custodial maintenance is preferred. 15-19 hours per week; evening and weekend hours are mandatory and starting wage is $15.38 per hour, no benefits.

Front Desk (PART-TIME YEAR ROUND) - must be at least 18 years old and are responsible for greeting the public, registrations, processing gym memberships, answering phone calls, opening and closing facility when applicable, and monitoring facility. Prior experience working as receptionist is highly preferred. Early morning (5:15-8:30am), evening (4:30-8pm) and weekend shifts available (5:15-11am). 6-19 hours a week available. Substitute Van Drivers (PART-TIME YEAR ROUND) - Must have a valid Connecticut Drivers License, with a valid CDL (Class C), and F and P endorsements. Responsible for providing safe transportation of residents to essential appointments and facilities using town provided vehicles. 15-19 hours a week between 8:30am-4:30pm with a varying schedule.
Camp Director (seasonal)- must have extensive experience working with children and have previous classroom or management experience. This position is responsible for daily activities, field trips and the safety of all participants and staff. Camp Director should be available to work the entire summer season, Monday through Friday from June 28 – August 20. Paraprofessionals (seasonal) - must have previous work experience in the field. These positions are responsible for guiding and supporting participants’ through daily activities and field trips while creating a safe and comfortable environment. Camp Counselors (seasonal) - must be at least 16 years old and are responsible for planning and leading activities and experiences for children in a group setting, as well as overseeing the general safety and development of the children under their supervision. Camp counselors should be available to work the entire summer season, Monday through Friday from June 28 – August 20. Prior experience working with children is highly preferred.
